Does Tingling Sensation In The Face Need Medical Attention?

my son is 25 yers old he just told me that he feels tingling and pins and needle on his fce once and a while during the day in the last few days and that his pattern of sleep is not great therefore he feels a bit tired. hejust moved into a new pace I wonder coud be related. Should he see a doctor?

Hello there. Tingling sensation in the face could be related to various types of dyselectrolytemias..hypocalcemia in particular. Stress and changes in sleep patterns could lead to various non specific symptoms too. I would suggest that he tries to set his sleep pattern in a more organized way and if he continues to have symptoms it would be prudent to run routine tests to rule out anything serious.
