Does Tooth Decay Need Immediate Medical Attention?
hello, I did a root canal about a year and a half ago. I had a problem with my dental insurance, so I couldn't do the crown right away. Also, I was planning to bleach my teeth before doing it. Ever since then, my hole is still open. I think that the cotton and maybe the temporary filling is still in there. I never had any pain problems or anything. Should I go to my dentist as soon as possible or I should wait until I'm done bleaching my teeth?
As per your complain Root Canal treated teeth becomes fragileand can fracture with sudden pressure like biting on some hard foods..
If the temporary filling is still present and you are not presently getting a crown placed then atleast get a permanent filling done before proceeding for bleaching..
You should also get the capping done as soon as possible to prevent tooth fracture that can cause loss of tooth...
Hope this helps..
Regards..
