Does Tooth Infection Cause Joint Pain?

Today I was diagnosed with an abscessed tooth underneath a cap I had a year ago. The tooth has been sensitive for most of the year. I am concerned about how the possible infection may have affected my health beyond the tooth. Is it possible to have pain in your joints due to an infection in your mouth?

hi,
dont worry as an infected and abcessed tooth certainly does not cause pain in your joints or affect your overall general health. pain in your joints may be due to various reasons if you are above 40 yrs then probably arthritis or if you are younger may be due to severe strain on your joints during work or dietary deficiency. consult your nearest gp to have tests run to get treatment.
