I have a friend who is in Arkansas hospital. They have ran out of things to do. It started out with his lungs filling up with fluid. His oxygen is low and their saying that his muscles are deteriating. They are keeping him in coma to keep him from getting excited about all the tubes and everything. He is on the respirator and they said they were going to try some oxygen to see if this will help. They were treating him for swine flu and they are now talking about putting him on dialysis. I would appreciate it much if you could maybe tell me what you think this maybe.
he may be having multi organ failure where in there would be kidneys getting involved. in that case, he would require dialysis. it is also possible that they may be contemplating treatment called ECMO
