Does Ultrasound Test Report Show Ectopic Pregnancy?
Respected doctor..i had a miscarriage on 11 th may. My ultrasound report came as complete abortion. On 18th i got my histopathology report and doctor said there is no chorionic villi found in the tissue so you may have a pregnancy somewhere outside the uterus. Is that really possible since i had a bleeding last week and doctor said its a complete abortion. They asked me to repeat a pregnancy test after 10 days. If its an ectopic pregnancy it would have visible through ultrasound right. And my last perios was on 29th march

In case of ectopic pregnancy, the gestation sac would be visible on pelvic ultrasound in most of the cases. I suggest you to get serum beta HCG done. In case the betaHCG is normal, pregnancy is ruled out.
