Does Urethroplasty Impact The Size Of Penis?

Hi (I am Italian sorry for my bad English) there is a chance I might go under a urethroplasty and I heard some people on the web who experienced penile shortening after the surgery so I have two question : 1)How is it common? 2)My urethral stricture is NOT bulbar so am I safe or there is no difference regarding this thing? Thank you.

Urethroplasty is an operation performed to repair an injury or defect within the walls of the urethra.
One of the indication for it to be done is urethral stricture. It is quite a common operation done by urologists. It is relatively safe and does not take much time for the operation or recovery during the post-op period.
The operation will not decrease the size of the penis and it will not affect your sexual performance or fertility.
