Does Use Of Cocaine During Early Pregnancy Cause Fetal Harm?

I used cocaine three times during pregnancy ( before I knew) the last time was at 15 weeks. Is there a high risk that my unborn baby has had a stroke? Or a birth defect? I am worried sick which is not good either but I can't stop worrying for her health

Cocaine use during pregnancy can lead to harmful effect to fetal development

Women who use cocaine during pregnancy are:
Twice as likely to have a premature baby;
More likely to have a low birth-weight baby;
More likely to have babies born with smaller heads and smaller brains proportionate to body size.

But the best thing is that , you have stopped to take cocaine at 15 weeks of pregnancy. I appreciate your decision.

So do not concern so much.
Women who stop using cocaine early in pregnancy appear to reduce their risk of having premature or low-birth weight babies.

So stick to your decision and stop taking cocaine right now.
All the best and take care.
