Does Using Cocaine While On Birth Control Pills Cause Vaginal Bleeding?

Can you have vaginal bleeding even though you are on birth control while using cocaine. I normally skip the sugar pills to avoid my period. I have not missed any pills. I ve been on a coke binge and notice when i use for a longer period of time I start to bleed. I ve used coke heavily in the past and never have had bleeding.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Cocaine use will not cause vaginal bleeding. However, it is completely normal to have vaginal.bleeding, even though you take the pill continuously. Skipping the sugar pills, and taking birth control back to back is not recommended and should not be done for longer duration. You should also do a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
