Does Using Implanon For A Long Period Cause Low Thyroid Levels?

I have had long term use of Implanon. Had it removed a year ago and have not had my period return in that time. I have a low thyroid count and have been checked for Secondary Infertility and diagnosed with Secondary infertility, however since having my blood tests done my period had returned since that time. Could Thyroid be because of the long term use of Implanon or my not returning within the year of having it removed.

Thyroid hormone essay is to be done and consult endocrinologist for advise on treatment of hypothyroidism. Consult a gynecologist for examination and advise on treatment. Take opinion of gynecologist.
