Does Vaginal Bleeding During Early Pregnancy Indicate Sign Of Miscarriage?
I tested positive on a pregnancy test. I knew the exact day of conception and was only two weeks pregnant when I missed my period and tested positive. About a week and a half later I started bleeding and have continued bleeding for almost three weeks. I planned on terminating that pregnancy and am wondering if I m miscarrying and should go to the hospital. I do not have an obgyn/pcp or health insurance.
Hello, Welcome to HCM. Bleeding like what you have mentioned is likely to be due to miscarriage. You must visit a gynecologist and get done a Ultrasound scan to confirm that you don't have retained products. Many a times, spontaneous abortion happens but it is not complete and there may be retained products which may lead to prolonged bleeding. They can lead to other complications like infection and infertility if not treated. So, it is very much advisable to visit a gynecologist. Hope this will be helpful. Take care.
