Does Vitamin D Deficiency Cause Diarrhea And Stomach Pain?
My daughter was recently found to be vitamin d deficient. Her doc has her on 10,000 IU per day since Friday. She also had been on zithromycin about 1.5 weeks ago for a strep infection. She has diahhrea all day today. Yesterday stomach pain. Could this be from the vitamin d supplement?

There is no such connection between vitamin D deficiency and diarrhea.
Vitamin D supplement sometimes leads to skin rashes and irritation.
possibly it could be some intestinal infection which is causing the diarrhea.
in other way Azithromycin may cause diarrhea,kindly check with treating physician.
