Does Vitamin D Deficiency Cause Swelling In Feet And Ankles?

My blood test result showed that I am vitamin D deficient, my doctor gave me Vit aD3 50000iu to take one after three days m now my feet and ankles are swollen , when I wake up in the morning they are okay but as the day progress they get swollen again.

not very related. Vitamin D the drug nor the deficiency relates to swollen ankles. Heart, liver, lung, or kidney disease can cause swollen ankles. If the liver or kidney are SEVERELY damaged they won't make vitamin D from dietary form to the form that works. BUT, you would have a LOT of other symptoms if your kidney or liver were truly FAILING.
