Does Vomiting And Fainting Spells With Fibromyalgia Need Additional Investigation?
my daughters fiance has been diagnosed by a family physician as having fibromyalgia. He has had several fainting episodes over the past year...which seem to occur when he is upset or in stressful situations. He also throws up a good bit. i am concerned that he needs to seek additional tests/diagnosis. He and his family seem to be weary from doctor visits and tests, but I feel that there may be more to his condition. At this time he is not taking any meds for his condition except occasional over the counter pain meds such as Ibuprophen. He says he doesnt want to take the meds his doctor prescribed (I believe they were antidepressants) because in his words they "altered" him...making him feel like he was in a fog and couldnt function. Any suggestions for the next step in getting to the bottom of this?
