Does Withdrawal From Smoking Cause Tightness In The Chest With Sore Back Muscles?
hey doc ive been only smoking pot for 9 years now i quit due to the price of it. its been about 5 days since i quit today i have been noticing that my chest is getting tighter, i was ready for that but i also noticed that my uper back muscles are sore and i have the weird feeling that i need to keep burping. i workout 6 days a week doing calisthenics so the back may be do to wrong form but does it sound like anything other then my body recovering from pot?
Your chest tightness could be from muscular strain or you can have respiratory cause like bronchitis or COPD because you are having smoking history....
Hence consult pulmonologoist for examination and further work up according to need.... Like... -Auscultation -Chest x ray PA view -Spirometry to assess severity and to guide treatment if needed -EKG
According to cause further specific treatment given
If no specific cause present and it looks muscular pain after examination and investigation than ibuprofen tablet given for that
Take care
Hope this will help you
