Does Zincovet And Logi-cal Lead To Weight Gain?

Hi,Doctor,when my baby was born,she was just 2.250 kg..doctor gave me zincovet and Logi-cal.I started those medicines when she was 15 days old...but when I met another pediatrician,he told to discontinue those..so I stopped that when she was 30 days old..now she is 40 days old,nd 2.800 kg.should I continue those medicines?

Thanks for posting on healthcaremagic. Logical or zincovit do not help in gaining weight. Zincovit is vitamin supplement and logical contains calcium. Zincovit is started from 21days of life. Though some doctors might not feel it necessary, I personally would suggest continuing it. Most mothers are deficient in calcium and so are the babies. So I would suggest calcium and vitamin D supplement. But for gaining proper weight proper and exclusive breast feeding is best
