Hello Ashraf and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
From the details provided by the
ultrasound and fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), we have not confirmed it to be cancer yet. But, it is a
tumor and could even be a cancer, but this has not been confirmed. Either way, my advise would be to go about the excision
biopsy, through which we can take a sample tissue out, or go for a surgical procedure to completely remove the tumor and examine it in the laboratory for signs of cancer.
If the cancer is ruled out, then we have already taken the tumor out and your wife should recover at the earliest. But, if god forbid the cancer is confirmed, we will have to examine and stage it. Depending on the stage, we could provide radiotherapy and
chemotherapy to address any affected
lymph nodes, etc. If required another surgical procedure might have to be repeated. I am sorry to say this. Hoping for the best.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
