Hi thanks for your question.
Your urine examination is normasl, however you blood test called as widal test is positive for para typhi Dilution more than 1:60 is considered as positive.
However single reading is not important,it is the rising titer which is important.
A four fold rise in titer from base line is considered as positive and indicates patient is infected with salmonell typhi (name of bacteria for which widal test is done)
Hope this answers your question.
The typhoid antibody present in blood above 1:200 is taken universally as a a sign of typhoid infection. But, its definite result depends upon the local endemicity of typhoid.
According to this, the report is quite satisfactory to declare this as negative.
The urine test is also not very much indicative of any particular disease.
So, overall, there is no definite abnormality detected overall.
Your urine report appears normal with no sugar, red cells or pus cells.
The blood test however may be suggestive of typhoid infection especially if the titre is rising; as the titre (Widal) is >1:160 ( O antigen >1:100 and H antigen >1:200) is positive for S typhi infection according to most kits. This must be correlated clinically as if there is no response to treatment, other viral hepatitides must be excluded such as Hepatitis A.
This is because serology can occasionally be positive for typhi but the clinical picture may not suggest typhoid.
Please ensure water is boiled and or filtered before consumption at all times.
Best Wishes.
