Done Inguinal Hernia Repair. Enlarged Lymph Nodes In Groin. History Of Testicular Cancer. Cause Of Pain?

I had a inguinal hernia repaired two days ago and am still in a lot of pain, I also had two enlarged lymph nodes removed from my groin at the same time, will it be the nodes or the hernia repair causing the most pain. I had treatment for testicular cancer last year the cell type was pure seminoma and I am praying that I haven't relapsed.

hello,

Hernia repair is a major surgical procedure and it is natural to have pain postoperatively.
But you also have a comorbid illness like testicular cancer and lymph nodes removed for it.
So at this point in time we can the difference the source of pain.
If there is a relapse the pain may be from the testicular cancer.
