Done Radical Hysterectomy. Have Odor, Brown Discharge, Dark Urine. What Is The Problem?

I had a radical hysterectomy 8 years ago. In the past 6-10 months, I have an odor like period odor and dark brown to black stains on my panties. Also, at times, my urine is dark. I had a kidney removed the same time of the hysterectomy and see my specialist twice a year. My doctor says there is a slight detection of blood in my urine, but that can be normal because the other kidney is on overload. I have not seen her since the discharge started. What do you think the problem can be? and should I make an emergency appt with her

Hello ma'am.

The discharge could be a sign of a uterine abnormality or abnormality of the inner lining of the uterus; a dark brown discharge is more indicative of the above conditions, pregnancy or a miscarriage.

So it is best to meet your doctor and get adequately tested for the same.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
