Done Semen Analysis After Three Days Of Abstinence. What Does It Mean?
hi,
i'm al, 28 yrs old and i've been married for 3 years now. I would like to share to you my semen analysis result and what does it mean. color: pearly white, volume: 1.5 ml, ph: alkaline
Motility: 30 mins - 30%, 1st hour- 20%, 2nd hour- 10%, 3rd Hour- 0%
morphology: pus cells- 3-6/hpf, rbc- -- , normal- 76%, abnormal- 24%, giant head- 0.11, pin head- 0.08, tapered 0.05
sperm count: 512,500/ml
i did my 3 days abstinence of ejaculation.

your volume is slightly low( may be some semen got spilled while giving sample)
Count is very good,(more than 20 Million per cc )Motility is slightly reduced ( Min should be more than 50% motile grade 1 and 2) and have infection. Reduced motility can be due to pus cells. Please take appropriate antibiotic course, along with your wife so that infection does not recur

Welcome to HCM.
Normally a good quality of semen should have not less than 40 million sperms out of which 60-70% should be highly active motility.
Your report seems to be little in adequate. It may be due to the presence a varicocele or an infection of reproductive tract etc..
So consult an urologist or an infertility specialist, they will examine you and do further investigate your semen and find out the reason and you will be treated properly.

sperm count is also very less. your is 0.5 million per ml, normal is 20 million/ml
motility, pH, colour, pus cells, morphology are normal
stop smoking, to regular physical activity, eat healthy, protein rich diet, Eat nutritious food, which is low in fat and high in protein, vegetables and whole grains. Reduce caffeine intake. Do not store your cellphone in the trouser pocket, or place your laptop on your lap. Protect testicles from too much heat.Wear loose undergarments. use multivitamins. do yoga, meditation to relax your self.
