Done Urethral Stretch, Constantly Passing Urine. Reason?

I had a urethral stretch done on Tuesday - the next day I urinated constantly. The following day I had bloody urine. I called the gyn who did this and she said this could happen. Then I called my urologist and have an appt on Tuesday
I had another bloody urination today and then it cleared up. I am constantly peeing. Could this procedure cause bloody urine?

Hi,
After surgical procedure this is common. The operated part take little time to heal. Since urine flow disrupts the preformed clots which prevents bleeding, you are experiencing blood in urine. this will regress of its own. Make sure that you keep yourself clean especially perineum. So that it wont get infected and by drinking plenty of water you can avoid UTI.

If the volume of blood in urine in blood is more then its better to consult the urologist.

Keep in touch,
Dr.Ravindar
