Hi am 26 years old...when I was 21 years I disnosed pcos...I went OB they prescribed gyanaset for regular periods..now am planing for pregnancy...if I take gyanaset tablet while ovulation time and if I get pregnant is there any side effects for baby....

This drugs is found to be harmful when taken during pregnancy, and should not be used.
Gynaset (Norethindrone) is a pregnancy category X by the FDA. Postmarketing human pregnancy data have revealed a possible association between first trimester Norethindrone use and genitourinary anomalies in male and female fetuses. Norethindrone use is considered contraindicated during pregnancy.
