Hi. I have these small dry bumps that seem like pimples, in the crook of my elbows but there isn't any puss or itching. At first I had some dry skin, but then I had these red bumps. And they seem to have multiplied slightly. I dont have any history of skin or autoimmune issues. Im thinking that maybe its just dry skin or heat rash, but I haveng really been subjected to a situation that would cause this, since I work in an air conditioned environment.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. As you described that there is not itching or pain , but only red bumps may be 1 Callosity , is a localized thickened or hardened part of the skin by FRICTION ( regular). Usually this is occupational as those who works and sits over chairs and elbow skin gets friction so skin become hard and there develops callosity. Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a surgeon . 2 Senile keratosis rarest possibility in your case . In my opinion consult a surgeon and get his opinion and treatment if any. In my opinion only avoid contact of elbow skin with surface and you will get relief. Good luck. Dr. HET
