Dry Cough, Mucous In Chest And Pain In Upper Throat. History Of Pneumonia, Took Flu Shot. What Could Be This?

I have a very dry hacking cough that hurts my upper and throat very much when I cough. I feel I have mucous down in my chest but I can't bring it up cause it hurts too much. Have had double pneumonia before so I'm just wondering. Also got my flu shot about 1 month ago. What do you think?
