Dry Mouth At Night, Frequent Urination At Night. Diagnosed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome And Fibromyalgia. Suggestions?

I have for some time been waken 4 to 5 times a night to urinate, up to 700 mls and I find it make me feel tired though the day this has been happening over the last 10 years approx. Have been diagnosis with chronic fatigue sydrone and fibromyalgia, is there any way I may be able to help this problem.
I try not to drink much before I go to bed, but during the night I wake up with a dry mouth and need to drink a little water and can drink up to a cup of water over the whole night.

Hello Bruce,

Thanks for posting on HCM,

You are having a polyuria-polydipsia syndrome which is typical of a metabolic disorder such as diabetes mellitus (most common). of course they may be other causes order than diabetes mellitus that could be responsible for your dry throat and frequent urination such as cerebral salt-wasting syndrome, primary polydipsia, central/nephrogenic diabetes insipidus (extremely rare), kidney diseases (such as infection, inflammation of nephrons) etc. It may also result with the use of certain medications (so if you are on any drug of any kind it will be high time you get your doctor to have a look). What you need to do now is consult with a doctor who can get you examined, run some tests to rule out one or more of the above mentioned possible causes, determine the cause and provide you with an appropriate treatment. If you are having diabetes mellitus, then control can lead to improvement in urination/thirst.

Hope this helps
