I have been suffering with a feeling of dry mouth and change of saliva and feeling thirsty, i am having treatment for preiodontal disease at the dentist . I have had a variety of blood tests which were all clear and my mouth is producing saliva as confirmed by dentist. I am not on any medication and do not feel unwell in general.
thanks for your query, the features you are presenting suggest a problem with salivary gland disorder like xerostomia, since you are telling all blood investigations are normal, the other possible causes include any obstruction in the salivary gland duct to rule out that you have to undergo some radiographic investigations... for time being you can drink lot of water, keep sipping the water...take artificial salivary substitutee like wet mouth gel or solution...aply this gel near the cheek opposite to first molar tooth where the salivary gland duct opens...use it 3-4 times daily for a week..this will solve your problem...
