Due To Tobacco Consumption Noticed Difficulty In Having Spicy Food
Hello Doctor, I am male/28. Am consuming gutkha from the age 18. Daily 10-12 gutkhas. Now am unable to eat spicy / hot foods. Also in my mouth, only 2 fingers are able to insert. Now i hv reduced the numbers to 5 per day. PLease advice. Thanks & Regards
Chewing gutkha is a bad habit and must be stopped as early as possible. It increases the risk for getting cancer of oral cavity (mouth). Are you having any sores or non-healing ulcers in your mouth which are making it difficult for you to eat spicy foods? Avoid hot foods and drinks and if you have difficulty opening mouth, then you must see a doctor immediately for timely diagnosis and treatment. Take care.
