During A Routine Pre-op Chest X-ray A Nodule Was Found

During a routine pre-op chest x-ray a nodule was found in my mom's left lung. A CT scan was done that showed a 1.79 solid round lesion in the left lingula adjacent to the left heart border. A second scan was done 3 mos later and the lesion now measured 2.08. A bronchoscopy biopsy was performed, unsuccessful, so a
cat scan guided needle biopsy was done, also not successful as the lesion was too close to the heart and too risky after 3 attempts to get tissue. What should be the next step? She has no symptoms. She is 77, non-smoker.
