MY ECG showed that I have normal sinus rhythm, left axis deviation, non-specific t wave abnormality. QRS: 98 ms QT/QTcBaz 400/432 ms PR: 144 ms P: 108 ms RR/PP: 854/857 ms P/QRS/T: 10/-35/100
What does this mean? I was diagnosed with hypertension 7 years ago and take Losartan 100mg and Carvedilol 6.35mg twice a day.
Dear friend, welcome to Healthcaremagic!
I am Dr. Prasad Akole (Critical Care Expert- http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole) and am glad to address to your query here.
From the brief data, I can say that these are the EG manifestations of long standing hypertension and subsequent heart muscle thickening. (left axis deviation and non-specific T wave abnormality indicates a thick heart wall)
You need to take cardiology advice to see if there are any indicators of ischeamia (blood supply problem to the heart) as T wave abnormality can also occur in CAD (coronary artery disease).
I hope to have answered your query satisfactorily. I would be glad to answer any further queries. Take care and please keep me informed of your progress at http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole
Good Luck!
