EKG Showed Minor Right And Lower Precordial Repolarization Disturbance, Ischemia. What Does This Indicate?
HI i JUST HAD AN EKG DONE...THE RESULTS READ MINOR RIGHT-PRECORDIAL REPOLARIZATION DISTURBANCE, CONSIDER FEMININE PATTERN SMALL NEG T IN V3 WITH FLAT OR LOW NEGATIVE T IN V2 MINOR INFERIOR REPOLARIZATION DISTURBANCE, CONSIDER ISCHEMIA , lv OVERLOAD OR ASPECIFIC CHANGE FLAT OR LOW NEG T IN AVF WITH NEG T IN lll WITHOUT SIGNIFICANT ABNORMALITIES pLEASE TELL ME What this means
** 1. Minor re polarization means normal variant whereas feminine pattern means ladies are born with some inherent differences in EKG from men which also have no concerns. 2. small negative T in V3 with flat/low negative T in V2: high blood pressure [hypertension] can cause this, and can be due to underlying CAD [coronary artery disease] 3. LV overload requires clinical examination, and probably requires Echocardiography. 4. It is an indication for further investigation like physical examination, followed by HOLTER monitoring, Echocardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) Laboratory work-up – will be necessary for proper assessment and assistance.
