Hello, You must continue the antibiotics and get reviewed by your doctor. In addition you need Decongestant tablets and if required on examination then decongestant nasal drops. Due to cold the eustachian tube - a tube connecting back of nose to the middle part of ears get blocked and which causes negative pressure in the ears and fluid to accumulate. This takes nearly two - three weeks for the swelling around the tube to go off , and during this period you need antibiotics and decongestants and also need to take care of reflux disease.
DUE TO MEDICINE OF THROAT INFECTION THE MUCUS SOLIDIFIED AND FILLED SINUSES WHICH GIVE SAME SYPTOMPS YOU HAVE WRITTEN METRONIDAZOLE 200 M BD FOR 10 DAYS CAN CLEAR SINUSES FAST ADD ANTIALLERGIC TAB TO REDUCE FURTHER SOLIDIFYING THE MUCUS CAN TAKE STEAM TO CLEAR SINUSES AND ANTACID TO AGAIN DECREASE THE PREESURE ON HEAD SEA WATER EAR DROPS 2 DROPS AT NIGHT EACH NOSE TO CLEAR THROAT AND EARS
