Ear Pain After Jumping Off The Dock To Lake. Anything To Worry?

Hi,
I was at the lake yesterday with some friends and everyone was jumping in, even the ones who have not been in the water for a while like me. But when I jumped off the dock ( about 3 feet up ) and came back up my one ear were hearting really, really bad. I was worried and was not sure what to do. But the next day my ear seems to be feeling all better. Should I still be worried that something got hurt?

Hi, it appears that you have jumped with this ear on the water side and the water would have entered the ear suddenly, and caused the ear drum to have a slap. Or there may be a hole in the ear drum, and would have entered the middle ear.
To be on safe side to prevent the otitis media better to consult an E.N.T.surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
