Ear Pain When Burping Or Hiccuping. No Sore Throat Or Blocked Nose. Infection?

Hi. I'm experiencing something that I've never experienced before. When I burp, or hiccup, my ear drum in my right ear hurts for the length of the burp or hiccup. Aside from that, my ear doesn't hurt. However, if i put pressure on my ear , i get the same feeling. I do not feel sick, I don't have a sore throat, and my nose and air ways seem to be crystal clear. I work at a place that requires me to wear a head set. These headsets are shared by a few other employees. They aren't ear buds, they're just standard headphones with a pad. So they don't go directly into my ear. However the ear that hurts, is the side of the headset that the headphone goes on. I do not listen to the headphones loud either. Is it possible I caught an infection from another employee or have some type of infection? If so what can I or should I do about this. Is it dangerous. Can it be dangerous?
