Ear Piercing Done With Sanitized Earlobe. Hard Lump, Bleeding With No Pain.
Hi, I pierced my ears by myself maybe 2 months ago. I made sure to santize my earlobe, the needle, and wash my hands. I've noticed a hard ball grow where the piercing is in both earlobes. Just recently, I took my earrings out to clean them, when I tried putting one back into my left ear, the piercing started to bleed. It wasn't a lot and I didn't feel any pain but it's never done that before. On the other hand, sometimes it hurts to take out the earring and it's a little hard t put it back in.
Hi Your ear piercing might have started to develop keloid. A common entity in the pierced ear or after trauma. People with a history of excessive scar formation are at definitive risk. What i would suggest is to consult a ENT specialist who can guide you better after a clinical examination. The options would be to get steroid injection or excision and closure. Caution both the situation have the chances of recurrence.Hope you find my suggestion useful. Please feel free to ask any further questions. Thanking you Dr Samir
