Early Light Periods Followed By Spotting, Bloating, Cramps, Nausea. HPT Negative. Concerning?

Last month my period came 5 days late. This month it came 8 days early and lasted for 5 days. But it was different. Like brown for the first 3 days. I have had some spotting since it ended and feel bloated and still cramping. I get waves of nausea in the afternoons. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests and they came out negative. What could cause this?

Hi ! This could be due to a pelvic infection causing early period and of brownish colour. This could also give rise to cramping in the abdomen. You have to consult your gynaecologist to exclude this.
Urine pregnancy tests are deceiving sometimes. You can consult your doctor who may advise you for a serum HCG test and an ultrasound abdomen for confidently excluding a missed pregnancy and some products remaining in the uterine cavity giving rise to such brownish discharge. After these investigations, further steps may be taken.
Wish you an early recovery.
