Echo Cardiogram Done. Can This Condition Be Treated By Medicine?

Echocardiography Report interpretations are as given below:

Situs solitus
AV + VA concordance
Normal IAS/IVS
Pulmonary valve stenosis
Peak instantaneous gradient: 70 mmHg
Pulmonary annulus: 22 mm

with is treatment other than surgery
on this report it is advised: Balloon Valvuloplasty
Just want to know is this can be treated through medicines

Hi and thanks for the query,
Treatment depends on correlating these results with the age, other pathologies like diabetes or cancer and on the clotting profile of the patient.
If the patient has severe manifestations clinically surgery shall be the best option, In this case, I would certainly propose surgery under these circumstances. There is certainly going to be a great improvement and many benefits from surgery. Especially, it is not open heart surgery by endoscopic surgery, required less hospitalization days.
Get evaluated by your cardiologist, but surgery is a very reasonable option under these circumstances. thanks and kind regards. Bain LE, MD
