Every Once In Awhile I Have A Little Bright Red

Every once in awhile I have a little bright red blood in my stool not in my stool just in the water and on the tp.I was diagnose with cleatis as a teen I'm now 32 I haven't taken any medication for about 10 years and have been fine.I usually go to the bathroom once maybe twice a day.I know I should go check it out but when would you recommend going if it happens once a week or every day.
