Excessive Burping After Appendectomy.
my son had an appendectomy about a month ago and since then he has been burping excessively, but not all the time. Now he has some sort of stomach flu and burps almost uncontrollably. Could the burping be related somehow to the appendectomy or is it just a normal symptom that goes with the flu. He has never done this before and it does not make him feel better after he burps.

Excessive burping is normally associated with indigestion, too hot food, not chewing the food properly, eating hurriedly, etc. It has got nothing to do with appendicectomy.
You can give him ginger juice, lime juice after every meal, use anti flatulents and digestive enzymes after meals.
