Excrement Color Was Black, Diarrhea, Burning Sensation, Itchiness In Testicles, Raw Sensation. Applied Aquaphor Ointment. Sufficient?
Shortly after joining a boot camp style group exercise class (very intense exercise), I noticed that for two days, the color of my excrement was black. I did not worry since I had experienced this in the past shortly after doing intense exercise. This lasted for two days and then came a bout of diarrhea that lasted a week and a half. During this period, I was experiencing a lot of pain (very intense burning sensation) while going to the toilet. I went to the doctor and he checked and informed me that it was an external hemorrhoid which was healing. After applying Aquaphor ointment per his instructions, the issue went away within two days. After feeling normal for the most part for around four days, I went back to the intense exercise class. About three days after that, I started to feel the symptoms that I'm currently feeling which include itchy anal area, pressure in anal area which occurs mostly at night, itchiness underneath testicles, raw sensation around the ring of my penis head and painful when ejaculating. I was advised to see a gastroenterologist since the biggest symptoms were related to the rectal area and the pain at night was very worrisome. Currently trying different remedies which only bring temporary relief. Lotrimin for itchiness around penis/testicle area, aquaphor ointment, and preparation h. There is no visible rash though the itchiness is there in both the testicle area and anal area.
hello user as per your history, you have black colored stools, and you also do very severe exercise, which is off and on !
Your doctor told you it as a external haemorroid, it might be true as you have anal area complains, but as per my knowledge, the color of external haemorroids bleed is fresh/bright red in color, not dark black(also known as altered blood) !!
The sensations around your anus might be due thrombosed haemorroids , for that local application of healing cream is fine, and if its not relived ,then a surgeon can remove it surgically, or using a sclerosing agent or some heat or laser cautrisation !
I m rather worrying about the black blood color of your stools.
As the altered blood comes more up from the Gastrointestinal tract, which in your case may be due to intense exercise.
And according to my opinion you have to refrain from severe exercise, if the black stool subsides then its no problem, but if it persists despite stopping of exercise, then i advice you to do a colonoscopy !!!
