Experiencing A Weird Distortion Of Peripheral Vision. Can I Ask A Doctor Online?

Hi, one day while I was at work I experienced a weird distortion of my peripheral vision . sort of like what people would describe as seeing stars after getting hit hard. It seemed like everything was in high contrast. Later that day I developed a bad headache around the front right side of my head and it lasted for 3 days. Tylenol did not help. Could this happen from stress and lack of sleep. Ive been having some relationship issues.

Hello

Lack of sleep and stress could very well be the cause of symptoms described by you here. However, in order to be on safer side, you should get your vision tested and get a refraction done. Depending upon the findings if you require glasses, you should start using them. In case your age is near 40, you can think of using glasses for near vision also.

You should also rule out hypertension by getting your blood pressure monitored.

Regards
