Experiencing Back Pain, wheezing And Blood With Clots Like A Period , What Is The Problem ?

Hi I am a 51 year old women disabled through a rta , back pain in 1985. I have had a wheezing in my chest for 4/5 days. Yesterday I had a fall ? Fracture in right foot. I am now passing a lot of bright red blood with clots like a period. My periods are normal to 1/2 days . These are due at day 4/5 each month. Is there a reason I should be concerned. I am writing this as I now have a hate of going to the doctors as I usually end up in hospital! Please advise what I should do .

Hi,
If you are not menopausal, this is the initial stage. Since you are 51, and still menstruating, you are experiencing hormonal imbalance. Your periods may be irregular and heavy for the next few months. Any extreme bleeding needs further testing. However, i suggest getting an ultrasound. Apart from that, any signs of bone pain, hot flushes, sleep disturbances see your doctor.
