Experiencing Burning Sensation While Urinating And Back Pain After Surgery

I had robotics surgery and a sent put in, I am in excruciating pain after 4 days I stopped peeping blood on the 2nd day and today it started again. I ve been having burning sensation while peeing and feeling like I still need to go. I wasn t having back pain but tonight I can t even touch or lay on it. I m not sure if this is because of the stent or a possible uti?

Hello and thank you for asking HCM.
Some symptoms might correlate with the stent, but i don't think that the burning sensation while peeing is normal. So i suggest you do a urine test to check if there is an UTI (probably) or better would be if you do an urine culture. If they came back negative, you just need some NSAIDs like Ibuprofen to relieve the burning sensation and the back pain.

Feel free to contact me any time.
