Experiencing Electric Shock Feeling In Heart. Forgetfulness. What Can I Do?
I am a 32 year old female, I am 5'5' and I weigh 123 lbs. Recently I have been experiencing what feels like an electric shock in my heart periodically. I also have been experiencing an increased level of forgetfulness and sometimes when I am driving I will forget where I am going and often get lost and disoriented. I can't always finish my sentences or follow my own train of thought. It's hindering my job in sales greatly. I seem to sleep well at night although it takes me hours to get going in the morning and feel like I always could use a nap.
Dear Ma'm Thanks for your query. Electrical shock like sensation in chest is unlikely to be cardiac in origin. That is not the character of heart / anginal pain. A transient , electric shock like pain , coming suddenly , going away in a flash (less than a minute) is not likely to be anginal pain. Rest of your complaints point to attention deficit/inability to concentrate . I would like you to see your neurologist and proceed accordingly. Sincerely sukhvinder singh
