Experiencing Irregular Periods, Painful Cramps And Fluttering Of Stomach
Hello, I ve being having regular periods all my life (I m 33) this month I was 6 days late, I took a Pregnancy test and it came out negative, I have now started my period but it is very heavy with lots of painful cramps I am also having a lot of fluttering in my stomach that moves from one side to the other, I had my appendix removed back in 2010 and then had a baby in 2011 by C-section, could I possibly be pregnant or is this gas, although I don t normally have gas. Please help I m starting to freak out!!
Following are the cause of irregular period: Hormonal imbalance, an emotional problem like stress, ovarian cyst/PCOS, change in lifestyle and dietary habit, thyroid disorder, etc.
I advise you to consult the gynecologist and get the done following investigations: reproductive hormone analysis, thyroid hormone, ovarian follicle study, USG scan, etc.
Management depends on the cause. The period can be induced by medroxyprogesterone after proper evaluation.
Do regular exercise like walking and medication early in the morning for 45-60 minutes, healthy diet and fresh fruits.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
