Experiencing Itchiness At The Left Corner Of The Eye, What Is The Problem ?
The inner corner of my left eye is itchy, and the surrounding area (tissue under eye) is sensitive. It started yesterday. It is not red or swollen. I have been using tear drops which helps for a couple of hours but then seems to wear off. I am not taking any medications and have not done anything out of the ordinary as of late. Do you think it could be an infection and that I should go to a doctor, or will it resolve itself? Thank you.
Welcome to HCM. It looks to be some allergic reaction. It might be due to insect bite, exposure to dust. Wash your eye properly. Start anti allergic/antibiotic eye drops under guidance of ophthalmologist. You can take oral levocetrizine with mild steroid to subside it.
