Experiencing Non-existent Sex Drive And Cramps. On Anti-depression, Anti-anxiety, Anti-psychotics, Sleep Medicines. Of Any Concern?

This is kind of personal but I have been on many different anti-depression, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotics, sleep meds (though not for the last year and am doing good without them). I noticed though that my body seems off (like my non- existent sex drive) and weird cramps randomly. (I'm 23 year old female). Could this be connected? Should I be concerned?

Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

Low sexual drive in your case can occur due to two main reasons. One main reason is the depression itself. Low desire may be a main presenting feature of depression. It is one of main feature seen in depression. Other reason is due to side effects of anti-depressant drugs. SSRIs may result in lower sexual desire and anorgasmia. I would advise you to consult your psychiatrist for evaluation again and for management of low libido.

Thanks
