Hi Doctor, For years, I ve experienced pain and discomfort on the left side of my left knee. I developed a number of spider veins there. I brought it to the attention of my PCP, but she downplayed it to a possible tear that needed to heal. So now that area has gotten worse, and the back of the same knee has same issue but worse. The pain is debilating to the point where working out is difficult. I have just noticed that the area behind my knee has started to swell after a workout on the treadmill the other day. Also just walking around is taxing and stressing. What do you suggest?
