Experiencing Pain In Chest And Back After Thorasactomy. How To Do Follow Up?
I had a thorasactomy for my pleural effusion that the doctors say pulled out yellow fluid. They now say they have no everything came back good and sent me home. I still have shooting pain in chest and back and can t take deep breath. Any idea s on the cause and how to follow up?
The cause of this pain is the inflammation of the covering of the lungs where the fluid had accumulated... The cause of fluid accumulation can be determined by the investigations sent of that fluid .. Untill the cause is known and the disease is properly treated you will experience such pain.. As for now u can just take oral painkillers for the pain and wait for the diagnosis to be made..
