Experiencing Pain In Wrist, Swelling In Both Fingers And Wrist And Protrusion Of Veins On Hand. Is This Normal?

today I had very sudden pain in my right wrist. extremely painful. during this my fingers became swollen and my wrist also became swollen. the veins on the back of my hand also became very large and protruded out a lot. range of motion was very bad. so painful that I could not touch my thumb and forefinger together or bend my wrist forward or backward. hours later it is still very painful and is also in my forearm.
