Experiencing Painful Thawing After Being In The Cold For Long, Has Swollen And Tingly Fingers. Medical Attention Required?

my daughters was outside for 1hr 45 min in 7degree weather today. She experienced painful thawing. It has been 5 hrs since she was outside. Her fingers are swollen tingling , cold ane feel but don t look waxy. She can see her fingerprints. They are normal color. Should she seek medical care now. She live in Boston and doesnt have an oncall nearby but a firehouse across the street

this is common to get this in many persons as the blood thromboses in sme patients on exposure to cold and the fluid from capillaries leak and causes swelling of the fingers which causes pain just like frost bite in people living in coldest temperatures
you need to keep warm
put gloves
put portion of fingers in hot wter mixed with salt for 10 to 15 minutes morning vening
apply local ointments which dissolve the block and fastens blood supply
take can antiallergic for itch and analgesic for pain sos
